All questionsHow much is Flexer?
Your first 5 blocks are free. After that, each time Flexer books a block, we invoice a commission of 3.5% of the block's price.
Your card (credit, debit or bank card) is only charged once your commissions add up to $20 (or £20, A$30 in Australia).
Tips are never included in the commission, so you keep 100% of your tips.
Not happy with a block? Forfeit it through Flexer or contact us. We'll remove the extra fees, compensate you, or refund you.
Example: a $72 block costs $2.52 in fees.
Does Flexer work on iPhone?
Yes. Flexer has worked on iOS from the start. Download it on the App Store. It's also on Google Play.
You also need the Amazon Flex app on your phone. Get the Amazon Flex app.
Why doesn't Flexer search in the background?
No, and that's on purpose. If Flexer searched in the background, plenty of drivers would forget to turn it off and end up with blocks they didn't know about. They'd miss them, and missed blocks get noticed by Amazon Flex.
We want you to actually deliver the blocks Flexer books for you, so for now there is no background search.
If keeping the app open on your phone is a pain, run Flexer on a computer instead. Install BlueStacks, a free Android emulator, then install Flexer inside it. You don't need the Amazon Flex app on the computer: Flexer signs in with your Amazon Flex login and searches from there, and your phone stays free for driving.
I forfeited a block Flexer caught. Do I still pay?
Forfeit directly in Flexer, in the "Forfeit upcoming blocks" tab. Flexer detects the forfeit much more easily that way and removes the fee from your next invoice automatically.
If you forfeited in the Amazon Flex app instead and you're still being charged, contact us and we'll remove the extra fees.
Can I stop Flexer whenever I want?
Yes. Flexer only searches when you start it, never in the background, and you can stop it anytime. It looks only for the stations, start times, block lengths and minimum hourly rate you set.
