## How the estimate works

1. Fee per paid block = block pay excluding tips × 3.5%, rounded to the nearest cent. Total fee = fee per paid block × charged blocks.
2. Charged blocks = blocks booked by Flexer minus any free blocks applied. The sign-up option covers up to 5 blocks once, not a fresh allowance every week or month.
3. Amount after Flexer fees = total block pay + tips − estimated Flexer fees. Fuel, vehicle expenses, tax, refunds and other adjustments are not included.
4. Every block uses your entered average pay and tips. This simplified estimate may differ from an invoice containing blocks with different prices or other adjustments.

## Worked example: after the free allowance

10 blocks at $72.00 each produce $720.00 in block pay. At 3.5%, each block has a $2.52 fee: $25.20 in total. With no tips, $694.80 remains before driving costs and tax.

Fees accrue on your invoice. Your card is charged when fees reach $20, £20 or A$30; the threshold is not an extra fee. Existing invoice balances are not modelled.

## Fee calculator questions

### Does Flexer charge a fee on tips?

No. The 3.5% fee applies to the block pay, excluding tips. The calculator adds tips to the amount remaining without charging a fee on them.

### Are the first free blocks included?

Select the sign-up option if all 5 free blocks are still available. It applies them once to the period entered. Leave it off if they have already been used. Partial allowances and referral credits are not included.

### Is the billing threshold an extra charge?

No. Fees accumulate until they reach $20, £20 or A$30, when your card is charged. The threshold changes payment timing, not the fee on a block.

### Does this calculate my Amazon Flex profit?

No. It estimates block pay plus tips minus Flexer fees. It does not subtract fuel, mileage, insurance, vehicle expenses or tax, and it does not predict how many blocks you will get.

### How should I compare a subscription?

Enter a subscription price covering the same period and currency as your blocks. The result compares cost for that volume only. Check the other service’s current official price, included features and terms yourself.
